End of season Go Games! Gers Weekly round-up 🚨
The U9 Boys finished the season on a high with 3 fantastic quality games against our hosts, Naomh Olafs. They played their hearts out, displaying great skills, and luckily, it was the last match when the hurls were broken!
Our U8 Boys played their last game before the break on a lovely Saturday morning at Cornelscourt, it was a great contest between them and Ballinteer St John and a lot of fun was had by all!
Our final Academy and All Stars sessions of the year took place on Saturday and we were delighted to be joined by Gwen O’Looney who is the Acting Sports Inclusion and Disability officer for Dun Laoighaire Rathdown County Council.
Gwen helped out with the coaching and gave great encouragement to our players and coaches. Our club Diversity and Inclusion officer Anna Martin and Gwen presented the certificates and thanked all the players, parents and coaches for all their help during the term. Anna and Gwen are pictured here with our Club Chair.
Well done to our U14s Boys who had a busy weekend across both codes!
The Southern Gaels team beat St. Judes in a brilliant game of hurling at Shanganagh Cliffs on Saturday afternoon. Here are the lads pictured sporting their new SG jerseys, thanks to James and Smart Mortgages for sponsoring the team.
Then on Sunday morning the U14 Boys footballers made the long trip to Rush to face St. Maurs, the lads prevailed in an exciting end-to-end game. Well done to the lads and their mentors.
Our Under 9s Girls had a great morning of Camogie against Kilmacud Crokes on Sunday. It was their last game of an excellent year.
Well done to our Adult Ladies team who have won promotion to Division 7!
The team powered on by their new sponsors EirGrid beat Clanna Gael at Cornelscourt on Wednesday evening.
Reminder that our 2024 Summer Skills is less than a week away!
It’s free, so make sure to bring a friend along 🙌
